The files flagged by Google will also carry a flag next to their name, to make them stand out from the others. The update is being rolled out and is expected to reach all the users within two weeks. This holds true for existing shared links too. The suspicious file will be restricted which means that the creator or the owner of the file will still be able to access it but won’t be able to share it with others. Any file is going to be flagged if it does not meet Google’s terms of service and its Spam Policy. Google has released a new Workspace update as part of which it gets the capability to flag suspicious files in Drive and let the account owners know by sending them an email. ![]()
